The liver performs many vital functions, many of which relate to metabolism and detoxification. Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine also recognize that many fiery emotions such as irritability, anger, jealousy, and ambition as well as courage, confidence, enthusiasm, and will power are connected to the liver. Keeping this organ open and flowing is vital to mental and physical health.
Of all the twenty types of yoga, including Kundalini Yoga, Sodarshan Chakra Krirya meditation is the highest kriya because it cuts through all darkness. It will give you a new start as it cuts through all barriers of the neurotic or psychotic inside nature. This kriya invokes the Kundalini energy to give you the necessary vitality and intuition to combat the negative effects of the unchanneled subconscious mind.
If you have not done Kundalini yoga before, I strongly recommend that you purchase the Kundalini Yoga Guide listed below before you start using the audio classes.
These yoga sets and meditations are part of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I have referenced the specific yoga manuals and books from which the sets and meditations can be found. The PDF instructions come directly from the source material for which I have been given permission to use by the Kundalini Research Institute. The teachings come from Yogi Bhajan; the comments and side notes in the class are mine.
